Installation

Stable release

To install VisWaterNet, run this command in your terminal:

$ pip install viswaternet

This is the preferred method to install VisWaterNet, as it will always install the most recent stable release.

If you don’t have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.

From sources

The sources for VisWaterNet can be downloaded from the Github repo.

You can either clone the public repository:

$ git clone git://github.com/tylertrimble/viswaternet

Or download the tarball:

$ curl -OJL https://github.com/tylertrimble/viswaternet/tarball/master

Once you have a copy of the source, you can install it with:

$ python setup.py install

Dependencies

VisWaterNet relies on the following dependencies:

  • WNTR <0.5.0

  • Numpy

  • Pandas

  • Matplotlib 3.5.0+

  • NetworkX 2.7+

  • imageio

and has been tested on Python 3.8 and 3.9.
